EQUIP & EMPOWER EDUCATORS

This #GivingTuesday, support safe and inclusive learning environments. In 2018 and 2019 combined WJC trained 552 educators with Creating Bias-Free Classrooms. Help us bring this vital program to more teachers in 2020.

All students deserve a safe and inclusive learning environment where they can thrive socially and academically. Teachers play a crucial role in creating that environment, particularly by preventing and stopping harassment. Yet they do not get adequate training on how to intervene. WJC’s Creating Bias-Free Classrooms provides K-12 educators with a unique interactive learning experience. With our training, teachers become effective at crafting solutions to prevent bullying so that they can foster a positive learning environment for students of all backgrounds.
