SUPPORTERS
We are grateful to our sponsors that make our mission and work viable, sustainable and accessible to the community.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Our community partners provide expertise and thought leadership that
improves our offerings daily.
To amplify our impact and foster community support, WJC collaborates with a range of strategic partners across various sectors.
Dream Centers: A public-private partnership involving 211LA, Healthline Youth Counseling and local school districts to connect various parts of the community in mutual support.
LA vs. Hate: Creating opportunities for our schools to engage with broader community initiatives addressing hate and promoting inclusivity, an initiative led by LA County Human Relations Commission.
Cal Poly Pomona: A research partnership led by Dr. Dayna Mitchell and her educational doctorate students to study the impacts of our districtwide partnerships, starting in Azusa. Results from Phase 1 will be presented at national education conferences starting this fall.
Pepperdine Law School’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution: WJC’s groundbreaking seminar at Pepperdine will teach students about the use of conflict resolution in the TK-12 educational setting. Taught by WJC’s Rehana Jamal, the class will offer law students hands-on experience through externships, including facilitation, mediation coaching, curriculum design, and research, while also connecting them with a network of judges and lawyers.
