PEER MEDIATION INVITATIONAL (PMI)
Join us for the 20th anniversary of the Peer Mediation Invitational (PMI) in 2025, celebrating two decades of empowering young peacemakers and transforming school communities through the power of mediation.
In 2025, WJC will host 500 students, educators, school staff & volunteer mediation mentors at its largest PMI in 20 years.
Over the past 20 years, PMI has grown from a small gathering hosted at the Maxwell House (WJC's campus) and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, with just a handful of schools and students, to a transformative event attracting over 500 students from dozens of schools across LA County, now held at the expansive California Endowment building.
PMI is more than an event. It’s a chance to embrace a restorative approach to conflict that empowers young people and puts them in the driver’s seat for changing culture and climate in our schools.
