PMI DAY AT-A-GLANCE
for participating schools

Day 1 - February 19, 2025

8:00-9:30 AM  🥐 REGISTRATION & BREAKFAST

Join us in front of Dr. Beatriz Solis Hall where you will have a chance to sign in at registration, where you will pick up free T-shirts, mediation materials and other great swag for your students. Then sit down for breakfast with ample coffee available for our educators.   

10:00-10:10 AM 😃 FIND YOUR ROOM

Students will have 10 minutes to find their mock mediation practice session rooms. Check their name badges for room assignments.

10:10-11:40 AM   🫱🏽‍🫲🏽MOCK MEDIATION SESSIONS

Our WJC team will lead your students through a short refresher before they dive into their mock mediation practice sessions. Students will be joined by pairs of mediation mentors (adults with background in mediation, negotiation, peacekeeping and restorative justice), who will be there to provide them with encouragement and coaching.

11:40 AM-12:25 PM  🥪 LUNCH

Enjoy a box lunch and get to know folks! If the weather is nice, spread out at the picnic tables in the courtyard or grab a spot inside.

12:35-1:25 PM  👩🏽‍🏫 WORKSHOPS: PART I

Students and educators will have six different workshops to choose from where kids can play, create, connect and learn.

1:35-2:20 PM  👩🏽‍🏫 WORKSHOPS: PART II

Had trouble choosing your first workshop because everything looked so good? Don’t worry. We’ll be offering all those same topics again.

2:30-2:40 PM  🙋🏽‍♂️ CLOSING

Join us back in Dr. Beatriz Solis Hall to share what inspired you most about PMI this year. Help us create an orderly departure by waiting for your school to be called before heading to the buses.
