Donor-Advised Funds

Through a Donor-Advised Fund, individuals can make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.

What is a Donor-Advised Fund?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individuals, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some cases, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.

How to Make a DAF Gift

    1. Contact your DAF sponsoring organization (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, BNY Mellon, or others).
    2. Recommend a grant to Western Justice Center.
    3. Your sponsoring organization will send the donation directly to WJC on your behalf.

Please provide the following information to your DAF administrator to make your gift:

Legal Name: Western Justice Center Foundation
Tax ID (EIN): 95-4176583
Mailing Address: 255 S. Grand Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91105
Contact Email: development@westernjustice.org

You may designate your grant for general operating support (most flexible and impactful).

Let Us Thank You

Because many DAF sponsors do not share donor information, please let us know when you’ve made a recommendation so we can thank you and ensure your gift is directed as intended.
