Empower: Annual Gala for Peace and Justice

Celebrating Peacemakers. Inspiring Change.

Each fall, the Western Justice Center community comes together to honor the changemakers who advance peace and equity in schools and communities across Los Angeles County. The Empower Gala raises critical funds to sustain WJC’s work and recognizes those who model courage, empathy, and leadership.

ABC’s of Conflict is a four-day, in-person training program for adults working in and with K-12 schools—educators, after-school leaders, PTO members, youth development professionals, and anyone passionate about conflict resolution in education.

Peer Mediation Invitational (PMI)

The Next Generation of Peacemakers Starts Here.

Every February, hundreds of student mediators and educators gather for the Peer Mediation Invitational — a transformative day of youth leadership, learning, and connection. Students put conflict resolution skills into practice, meet mentors, and celebrate the power of dialogue over division.
